In The Reading Workshop we had to answer some questions about our fictional story. Here are the questions.

1. Create your characters and develop their characteristics and physical traits. Is there a villain and what is he/she like? How does the bad guy impact the story?

Jake is the main character with a good personality black hair medium height, gifted kid

Blaze is a villain, average height has a bad temper and he is a gifted kid with red hair, likes to blow things up.

Vert is a medium height kid with a bad personality brown hair a gifted kid.

Guardian is a god who has black hair good personality a gifted kid.

Snake eyes doesn’t talk blond hair good personality a gifted kid.

The villain impacts the story by trying to destroy Antarctica, South Pacific Ocean and Arctic ocean and parent napping Vert, Guardian and Snake eyes parents

First things of writing a Fictional Narrative

For The Reading Workshop we have to answer some questions to start writing a Fictional Narrative.

How many characters will there be? There will be 5 characters

What are the names of the characters? Jake, Blaze, Vert, Guardian, Snake eyes

Who is the main character? Jake

Where does the story take place? The story takes place in Antarctica, South Pacific Ocean, Arctic Ocean.

When does the story take place? 2212

What will happen in the story? Jake assembles a team together of gifted kids, Blaze tries to destroy Antarctica, South Pacific Ocean and Arctic ocean. Vert, Guardian and Snake eyes parents were captured by Blaze

What problems occur? Vert, Guardian and Snake eyes have a hard time working together. Blaze parent naps Vert, Guardian and Snake eyes parents. Blaze tries to destroy Antarctica, South Pacific Ocean and Arctic ocean.

How will the problems be solved? Vert, Guardian and Snake eyes work together to save there parents from Blaze. Jake,Vert, Guardian and Snake eyes stop Blaze from destroying Antarctica, South Pacific Ocean and Arctic ocean.

What moral or lesson will be learned? Teamwork is better than doing it by your self.

Field trip mystery

In The Reading Workshop we had to write a post about the person we were studying on our field trip . What I saw on the field trip yesterday to Conkles Hollow was.

1. Stayed real close to Mr. Knoop when he stopped to about the rock formations and the hike.

2. Listen to the teacher and Mr. Knoop.

3. Some of the time dozed off to friends.

What is Your Potential?

For The Reading Workshop we had to write a comment on Mr.McGuire blog about Potential. If you watch the video Death Crawl from Facing the Giants, it talks about Potential.

On a scale between 1-100, I think I would get a 20-40 chance on the Potentialmeter. I think Mr.McGuire thinks I would get a 70-90 on the Potentialmeter.

I know I could get a higher score on the Potentiometer if I can do a great job till now and the OAT test.For this years OAT test I think I’ll pass because I learned stuff that I didn’t know the day I came back to school. Ever since we taken the OAT test I passed each one every year since the first day I took the OAT test.

Do you control your destiny?

In The Reading Workshop we had to write a comment on The Reading Workshop blog and I brought this comment to my blog.

In the book Freak the Mighty Max thinks he is going to be like Killer Kane.

Yes I have some control over my destiny.

I think I control half of my Destiny and my dad controls the other half. I think when I move out I will have the rest of my Destiny.

I think that for now its good that my dad has half of my Destiny If not I think I probably go crazy.

Responsibility in the school

This post is my comet on The Reading Workshop blog. The students and I had to post a comet on Mr. McGuire blog about a person helping another person out. If you want to see the Liberty Mutual Commercial about Responsibility just go to his blog. Heres the comment I made on Mr. McGuire’s blog

I think that people should help other people when they need help.
I have seen people do good things for people.
When the sixth grade are eating lunch and the little kids come in and hang there stuff up and one kid was having a really hard time, Justin G would help the little kid hang his/her stuff up.

Its a good thing that we got good people at our school.

Menes Project

For Social studies and for The Reading Workshop we had to write a post about someone from Menes, Hatsheupt, Sargon, Khufu, Ahmose and Hammurabi. For my report I picked Menes.

Menes belongs to the river civilization the Nile which is located in Egypt. If you do not know much about the Nile river then I will tell you. The Nile flooded every year from June to September. The Nile river is located in Africa near the Nile Delta. Egypt is located in Africa at the almost very top of Africa

Menes was the first Pharaoh of the first dynasty and who brought Upper and Lower Egypt together after he defeated the Pharaoh of Lower Egypt. To show his victory Menes wore a double crown.

Menes great accomplishment was building the Memphis Dam. Memphis was the capital of Egypt in Menes time and it was a dam that completely surrounded Memphis to protect it from the flooding of the Nile. Menes other great accomplishment was uniting Upper and Lower Egypt. Menes civilization was historic.

Something Interesting from my Book

In The Reading Workshop we had to write something interesting about our book.

I am reading Pokemon Dimond and Pearl adventures 4.

Something interesting about my book is that Hareta caught Regigigas the legendary pokemon that can only be awaken by three different pokemon Regice,Regirock and Registeel. Something else that is interesting is that Hareta is almost there to meet Dialga and defeat Team Galactic.
